Smooth Radio (3.3m) This is the top 10 radio stations of 2011. If i had to choose any of these stations to broadcast my radio advert, i would choose Heart. This station is a huge commercial radio station which is divided in to small regional stations. I would also choose Classic FM due to the music side such as Beethoven and Mozart who are talked about in "Illuminatum" By using both of these stations to advertise i think we would get a mixture of ages, genders and social class to watch the documentary. I believe my advert would have had more hits if it was a either a facebook advert or youtube advert. I believe this as radio is slowly losing its listeners, meaning smaller audience to catch.

Radio Research and history

Radio adverts are used all over the world nationally and locally on commercial stations, radio stations sold "spots" in exchange for money. This paid for radio presenters and existence of the station. Companies such as coca-cola sponsored radio station in 1950's America this was due to the presenters thanking sponsors live on air. Radio is still one of the best places to advertise as 95% if the population have listened to the radio in the past week. With the internet and apps it has made it possible for radio stations to be listened all over the world.
  
Me and my group have now started researching for our radio advert.
We have looked at a few adverts on youtube and the BBC and have seen similarities in both.

 Our advert will consist of music excerpts, clips from original documentary and voice overs.

Technological Problems

We tried making a moving image to use for our title page, during the process we had a few problems with importing and exporting from different computer programmes. As I'm not advanced in using programmes such as Flash player, i let the other people in my group who new what they were doing to create the image.

The Scripts

As my group are creating a script, i didn't find it necessary to write a script. This was due to making the documentary flow and not be rehearsed. The only part which was scripted was the opening and the questions.

Masonic Lodge Visit

During my research i found that the Freemasons had ties and links with the order of the Illuminati, with this in mind i suggested that we should visit our local masonic lodge in Wolverhampton.


we wanted to get the view of someone who attends and is a part of the Masonic community, this will then give a balanced argument in our documentary 


On the 28th of February we decided to travel to the lodge with specific questions we needed answers about, on arrival we met a member of thee Freemasons who was willing to answer some questions about the Illuminati and Freemasonry as a whole. Whilst we set up the camera the gentle man explained who he was. In fact he was J.B Rouse the Provincial Secretary Of Staffordshire. Being a high member of the lodge he was able to offer more information than we initially needed, the information he gave wasn't just on Freemasonry but about religion, speculation and ceremonies that take place in the lodge.


After answering our questions he gave us a guided tour of the Masonic lodge, he did ask however that we didn't film or take photos of the meeting rooms or store rooms. This was due to the fact some of us may become masons.
 J.B Rouse gave us an incite into the rich and famous who were members of the Freemasons people such as The Duke of Kent, Mozart and The Archbishop Of Canterbury.  

These two videos contain the whole interview we conducted at the masonic lodge. . As the whole interviews goes on for 15 minutes, we will have to decided which parts contain the important information/relevant information and cut it from the rest, this cut footage will be used in our documentary one interview.

Drop Out!

As we couldn't get an interview with a Dr from any university we decided to arrange an interview with an Religious Education teacher from The North East Wolverhampton Academy.
We decided to initially use Nikki Man as an expert due to her RE background, she also told us that she has visited many Freemason Halls and attended many in Italy and other countries.  
 We set up an interview with her this afternoon, however i received an email from Nikki this morning saying she couldn't be apart of the documentary, i found this a bit odd as she didn't explain why.

Problems with filming!

During the filming of our introduction we had a few problems with a few things, as we were using the exterior of the school, bells and children were major problems. Just as we started filming the bell rang for the end of lessons so had to cut and wait for the children to get to there other rooms. This meant we wasted at least 20 minutes of filming. 


During our interviews which we set up in the drama room, we had year 7 keep knocking the door or just walking in meaning that we had to stop filming again and wait for them to leave. This meant that we could only fit two interviews in a filming day as the interviewees either had lessons or were teaching.
